Welcome to Copa Surf - a SD Surf Cup Qualifiers 2023!

This is Copa Surf — a SD Surf Cup Qualifier — for the U15-U19 age groups will be held March 4-5, 2023 in Lathrop, CA Be part of a Regional Showcase tournament that sends its winners to Surf Cup in San Diego!

This event will be for 2004-2008 birth year players. All 2004 and 2005 teams should register under the 2004 (U19) birth year age group for this event. This will be a combined 2004/2005 age group for this event.

Every year, Surf hosts two different editions of our Copa Surf — a SD Surf Cup Qualifier — for the U8-U19 age groups. This is a PREMIER ELITE ranked and one of the top-ranked tournaments in Northern California and the Nation. This year, Copa Surf - Olders will be hosted at River Islands and surrounding cities.

• Age Groups: Boys & Girls 2008-2004 (15U-19U)
• Entry Fee: $1095 (11v11)
• Early Bird Discount: $995 (11v11) – Early bird ends January 10, 2023
• Application Deadline: February 20, 2023
• Event Dates: March 4-5, 2023
• There will be a 3-game guarantee with finals on Sunday, March 6, 2022.
• Departure: If you plan to make travel arrangements prior to the schedule being announced, we recommend making departure travel arrangements based on the last kickoff being at 3:00 pm.
• The Copa Surf San Jose will host boys and girls from 15U to 19U in one bracket: Best of the Best

           Best of the Best winners will earn the automatic bid to Surf Cup San Diego in late July 2023.

• 2008-2004 Birth year will play 11v11
• Each team is Guaranteed 3 Games.
• All Games will be played at the River Islands Sports Complex.
  
• Medals for 1st and 2nd place teams. (Championship Matches)
• Trophy for 1st place teams. (Championship Matches)
• Best of the Best Champion - Automatic Acceptance to Summer Surf Cup 2023 (Separate Entry Payment Required)

This is a Class I Tournament open to USYS, US Club Soccer, USSSA, and FIFA-affiliated teams.
This event is sanctioned by US Club Soccer and ALL players must have 2021/2022 player cards to participate.
The registration deadline is February 20, 2023, at midnight. Teams will be notified of their acceptance for the event by February 22, 2023.
