Welcome to Copa Surf - the SD Surf Cup Qualifier 2024!

This is Copa Surf — the SD Surf Cup Qualifier — for the U9-U14 age groups will be held March 23-34, 2024 in Morgan Hill, CA. Be part of a Regional Showcase tournament that sends its winners to the Surf Cup in San Diego!
This event will be for 2016-2010 birth year players.
Every year, Surf hosts two different editions of our COPA SURF — the SD Surf Cup Qualifier — for the U8-U19 age groups. This is a PREMIER ELITE ranked and one of the top-ranked tournaments in Northern California and the Nation. This year, COPA SURF - Youngers will be hosted at Morgan Hill and surrounding cities.
- Age Groups: Boys & Girls 2016-2010 (U8-U14)
- Entry Fee: $795 (7v7) - $895 (9v9) - $995 (11v11)
- Early Bird Discount: $695 (7v7) - $795 (9v9) - $895 (11v11) – Early bird ends January 20, 2024
- Application Deadline: February 21, 2024
- Event Dates: March 23-24, 2024
- There will be a 3-game guarantee with finals on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
- The Copa Surf will host boys and girls from 8U to 14U in one bracket: Best of the Best
Best of the Best Division winners will earn the automatic bid to Surf Cup San Diego in late July 2024. (Separate Entry Payment Required)
- 2016-2014 Birth year will play 7v7
- 2013-2012 Birth year will play 9v9
- 2011-2010 Birth year will play 11v11
- Each team is Guaranteed 3 Games.
- All Younger Copa Surf Games are played at Morgan Hill Sports Complex.
- Tents and benches are provided for each team.
- Medals for 1st and 2nd place teams. (Championship Matches)
- Trophy for 1st place teams. (Championship Matches)
- Best of the Best Champion - Automatic Acceptance to Summer Surf Cup (Separate Entry Payment Required)

- Finals will be played on March 24, 2024.
The registration deadline is March 14, 2024, at midnight. Teams will be notified of their acceptance for the event by March 15, 2024.

Refund Policy:
Accepted teams that request to drop from the tournament before the February 21, 2024 application deadline will be entitled to a full refund less a $100 administration fee and less the credit card processing fee.
Any accepted team is not entitled to a refund for any reason after the February 21, 2024 application deadline.
Applying does not guarantee acceptance; Notwithstanding the foregoing, if a governmental order cancels the event or prevents your team from traveling to the event, you will receive a full refund minus any credit card processing transaction fee.
